The Board and Bean started as a dream of the owners, Liz and Sarge, to have a place where people can share in a positive social experience that didn't revolve around alcohol or competition.
A place where you can relax, have fun with friends or family, and enjoy an affordable time on the town.
A place where you can find good food, good coffee, good games, and good times.
A place that finally answers the question of "What are we going to do tonight, Brain?"
The Board and Bean is that place.
The Concept
Simple
Board Games, Coffee, Food.
We don't want you to have to think about what's in your food, or what a "Venti" is. We just want you and your people to enjoy themselves.
Affordable
You shouldn't have to break the bank to have a good night out.
$5 gets you a seat at the table, and unlimited access to the library for that day. And the food's cheap too.
Unique
You won't find an experience like this anywhere else in Lansing.
Between our twist on foods you love, to our french press coffee, and our people, we're one of a kind.
